So this weekend i pulled out the dent in the rear and put on my 95-97 Tail Light meantime. I replaced the entire front brakes except the brake lines.

I sanded, primered and installed the new driver's side fender and put in the clean 98 grill, which required some tweaking to the car due to the accident it was in back in 06. I cleaned the interior and that's it. However, today i'm going to do the interior and installing the rear strut strut bar, i'm also going to begin removing the emblems and logos so that they can be primered.

I will and yea i couldn't make it!

it sucked man! my drivebelt got all messed up on me in the morning and i had no more money after buying the food and stuff, i was so mad man! but for sure, I'll post pics up soon, right now i'm in class so i can but yea i'll post a pic of the outside tonight so you can see how i fixed my front & rear ends, not quite done with either one but it's gotten better!

yeah...leave the lettering alone....tape it off...then paint the rest of the VC...

i would keep the side mouldings red...black would make the car look cheap imo

I used the Metallic Specks Red Paint at Autozone, High Heat Primer, and High Heat Clear Coat, so far it's great!!!

Yea i did a photoshop of the car with the black side moldings and i have mixed feelings about it.

yea! duplicolor makes it! it works great man! there's a pic of it on this thread. they also make a nice blue metallic and a silver metallic but so far that's all ive seen, i'm very happy with the results, maybe not my skill but definitely am happy with the paint!

Ok so it's been a few days since I've been updating the progress but so far here's what's been done:

1) Rear Strut Bar Installed

2) Flat Black SE-R Wheels (thanks to Jose aka NXSpaniard

)

3) Cleaned the interior

4) Gave the car a nice little wash using the Ice line from Turtle. btw works great!

The EBay one, for now it'll do but soon I wanna get a better one, just gotta wait and handle my school payments and books first then keep doin the car. But more progress is happening, pics up tomorrow afternoon!

So it's been damn near a year since i originally started this thread so it's time for some major updates, most of them are bad, however, the very few good updates outweigh the bad

NEW REPAIRS:

1) Replace the Rack & Pinion
2) Wheel Alignment
3) Replace the Struts & Springs F&R
4) Replace the Rear Brakes
5) Re-Adjust the Parking Brake
6) Oil & Oil Filter Change
7) Replace the Spark Plugs
8) Replace the Passenger Side Headlight Bracket
9) Service the Radiator Completely
10) Replace all Four Tires

If anyone can get me the headlight bracket i'd be super grateful thanks! PM me asap if you have one, it would shipped to 91335 just PM me a price and i'll get back to you asap.

NEW UPGRADES:

1) Lucino Grille (Plan to order from Greg very soon since my 98 SE one broke)
2) Lucino Rear Emblem (Plan to order from Greg along with Grille)
3) Make a new and longer Leather Shift Boot
4) Clear Corners (Talking to a fellow member to buy them off him)
5) Coilovers (Not sure which or when but most likely next Spring)
6) Lucino Front Bumper (I found a place that sells it $275, can anyone do better?)
7) AD22VF Upgrade (Happening sometime very soon, shooting for September)
8) Rear Disc Brakes Conversion (This is going to be a x-mas gift to Nikki)
9) HID Headlight Conversion (Sometime next summer possibly Fall 09)
10) Engine & Tranny Swap B14 SE-R SR20DE (Shooting for Winter 08/Spring 09, if anyone can get me a nice deal on one then PM me ASAP please)

I run a Sprint store in San Fernando, CA and I've been in talks with a private business man who has a mobile body work service, which he's doing my car for free since i'm hooking him up with 3 Boost phones so yea! i'm going to get my body work for free!!! I'll post pics of the finished product as soon as i possibly can ok.

I dont have insurance. ive had this plan for over a year and half. so im guessing im eligiable, but im not looking to add 2 more years just so i can get a new phone.
or if you have any phones for sale for a cheap cheap price lmk.
And if you need any help when swapping over a Sr into your b14 i can give you a hand.

Oh ok cool for sure, well I just got a hold of a Palm Treo 650. It's a used phone but it's in good condition, i got it by upgrading a business account. I'm gonna try out the phone's options and make sure everything's cool, then i'll send you a price to see how much my boss would want for it ok. If i can't lower the price past a certain point, i'll start hooking it up with some accessories for it if you want.

Thats exactly the phone ive been searching for. Ive had this phone twice, (got it stolen twice) its a great phone. Never had a problem with it. I even still have the car charger and the home charger here. So if you can hook it up with that phone it would do me great. And if you need a hook up on vvl motors and swapping them in i could get you a good deal on them. and give you a hand in putting it in.
