Warped rotor oh yeeeeeah!

Showing the Lowes ultra shifter

My ultimate junk yard find!

I was just at Lowes one day, looking for some misc. bits and pieces in the hardware drawers, then I saw threaded rod, and thats how it happened. I love it though, and Im currently working on a design that will make it even higher, one piece, but with a crazy short throw. It is nice not having to move my hand far from the steering wheel.

As for the car, its not fast. Runs high 14's, but it gets 30mpg in the city, so Im really not complaining. IMO, LS/Vtec isnt the way to go if you want NA. compression is too low, so it would be desirable for a mild turbo setup, or nitrous.

Serious? I ran a 14.3 with a stock VE. I thought those LS/Vtecs had around 200hp What head do you have?

I have no clue how much power they are supposed to put out. It is a 1st gen B16 head. It is running off a weak computer though, and timing is only at 16 degrees.

I got the material for the trunk at JoAnn fabrics. I was actually looking for some ridiculous material to make a tacky shirt out of, but didnt ever get the shirt made.

the OP doesn't have a B16 (si engine) it's a single cam vtec which is about 150hp.

the GSR, Type-R and Civic Si engines are almost the same, putting out between 170-190hp, stock. these engines are the only ones that come with DOHC.. the rest of them are either single cam vtec or just single cam non vtec. after 1999~ all honda/acura engines are DOHC vtec.

and btw, besides my 200sx se-r i also have a 2006 TSX... no one said you can't love nissan and honda/acura at the same time,. because i do

That is a DOHC LS with V-Tech. Look at the valve cover, its a duel cam.

Who cares its a LS anyway.
