Jon did not compete. He had plans at 12:30 that he forgot about. Due to site restrictions, we couldn't *START* the autocross until noon.

The blue tape actually does not restict the light emmited very much And it looks pretty damn cool too. That tape of course is to keep rocks, etc from shattering a lens all over the track. Yes, little rocks will shatter a lens if you hit it a 120+ mph

Matt-who thinks his car is unusually photogenic.

Is that dryer duct I see on the driver's side? Riceboy. Your car is very clean. Keep up the good work.

Actually it's heater hose for a VW, I think. Routed to the open JWT intake.

Funny story: Went to Topeka for solo finals in '99. Drove a Miata in B-stock. I signed up as "Team Riceboy". Seriously.

Hey Matt, nice shots, I was thinking of doing something like that to my ride since mine is also a 92. I wanted to get some thing to get air right to the CAI...I cut the hole a little bigger on that side but I really wanted to channel the air. Do you think it make a difference and its worth doing?

I figure at 100+ mph on track at least *some* cool outside air is making its way through that hose to the intake. I have it blowing in the vicinity of the JWT POP, so I'm hoping some is getting sucked in.
