In case you do read:

112k miles
Lowered on Teins (which is why I grabbed the car, the guy thought the previous owner just cut the springs..........ahahaha!)
K&N Filter (dirrty as !@#%@)
16" American Racing Rims (pff...you know where those are going)
"Exhaust" ....exhaust TIP! ... you know where that's going too...
Pioneer Speakers (he cut out holes and put 6x9's in the side panels in the back...pff, another thing I have to fix)

The bad:
Needs cleaning badly
All rims are have curb rash
Missing bolts all over the place
Broken Tail light
Stereo face plate doesn't work
Cracked radiator
Needs new axles (clunk clunk clunk when you drive!)
No REAR VIEW MIRROR!
No sunshades
All tires need replacing

Did I mention it was hella dirty??

Going to a few junkyards tomorrow to pick up some pieces. I have no job, so this is all I have to do until school starts. Will update later. See my thread in the west section if you want to know more...

This is what happened when I threw the filter to the side...

A close up of the filth:

This is what happens when you give someone a car and they have no idea what it truely is...this saddens me:

This is what I pulled out of the car and trunk...

This is what HE thought was a bonus for the car...pff...

This is what I thought was a bonus!!!!!!!! (sorry for the bad pic, hard to get in there...

He thought someone just cut the springs. HAHA. I usually am a very honest guy, but I'm sorry...if you don't know you have TEIN coilovers, you deserve to get what you asked for the car!

The axles are my first project...so I can drive the car...here's my 1.5 project:

You can't see it now, but after driving around you notice there's a crack just oozing coolant out. YAY!

More photos and updates to come as I fix things, clean, disinfect and polish everything back up. Can't wait. I don't have a J-O-B...so, this is all I have to for "work" haha!

Hopefully good . It was over 100 degrees today so I was not getting on the floor to look under anything. Tomorrow I'll be putting the car up on some ramps and checking stuff out in the morning before it gets too damn hot again.

Can't wait to start ripping this crap apart though. I can't sleeeeeeep.

I can't, I'm too stoked. Haha. Thanks for that info on the mirror. I had one in my old truck and that helped me get around so much and find my way home when I was lost, haha.

I'm about to surf craigslist for jobs and other misc crap, I'll have to look for one. I'm going to the yards tomorrow. If I notice two, I'll nab it for ya and when you want it, let me know. Just craigslist one of the kids toys...ahaha. I'm selling all my dads crap in the garage. I asked him for money (just to see what he'd say...it is my birthday on Sunday! WOO) and he was like...get rid of this crap. YES!

Oh, and yeah...I thought it was a smoke detector too, but it was some hella dried up car air freshener. It obviously hasn't been working in a long long @#% time *** this car stinks like old sweaty man, eh...gross.

Nice find!! There was a Base model 95 on CraigsList for $1,200 that had teins and I tried so hard to buy them from him but he wouldn't sell! What the dude you bought this from doesn't know won't hurt him...

I have a complete set of interior pieces if you need anything specific. I even have the mirror if you can't find the Maxima one. Just PM me if interested.

Thanks, but I grabbed one at the Pick n Pull the other day. I also found the interior piece I needed.

See my other thread in the WEST section to see what I'm updating. I'll post teaser pic of the interior tomorrow. (Forgot my camera.....oops)

I dont even understand how someone could let their car get that disgusting on the inside. Who could drive around like that or let passengers in it you know? Oh well, good score for you.

Yeah...tell me about it. You didn't even see what it looked like before he cleaned most of his junk out. This dude seriously left hella trash inside the the car for me to take out. I almost wanted to ask for some of my money back for having to clean it! Haha...but, it was a steal for me, so I gave him the money and ran. I probably could have paid less, but I'm not a haggler...however you spell that. My wife says I'm to easy and trusting, but I just don't care enough. Haha.

This guy left dirty ass clothes, the trunk and under the seats are filled with slime, there are old ass french fries ALL OVER the place, wrappers...etc etc. Seriously, though...who leaves dirty clothes in a car...let alone one you are selling.

An update though...I just ordered the axle from AutoZone and it should be here Thursday. I have an appt at the DMV to register the car on Friday, so hopefully I can get the axle in and it over to the smog shop Friday morning. Once this car is driveable I'll be able to work on cleaning it up more. Especially once I get a job too! Haha.

Will update pics this weekend if anyone is wondering. Painting the interior this week and steam cleaning all the carpet and seats. Can't wait....

Paint the interior what color? What are all are you using to do the steam cleaning? I want to do this to my daily driver.

I'm just repainting it flat black...the closest to stock I could get it. I'm using Dupli-Color Fabric&Vinyl Paint. So far it's coming out great. It's only $6.99 a can, too. So, I think with two, maybe three cans, I can do all the interior. Refinishing the interior for around $25...not bad. Dupli-color also said that after 72hrs of drying time I could use silicone based 'polishers' like Armor-All to keep it fancy lookin.

I'm going to steam clean the seats and carpets. I saw this video on YouTube of some Aussies (in a badass car you'll surely recognize ) renting a RugDoctor and using that. I thought that'd be a great idea because I want to clean my carpets in my apartment and my brother wants to to his futon. So, I'm makin him pay half. I'll let you all know how it goes...

I had good luck with removing the carpet from my B13, and taking it to the car wash. Get some good interior cleaner and a brush, then use the wand to blast the dirt out. The water looked like coffee it was so dirty, but in the end, the carpet looked great. Let it dry real good before putting it back in though. It was had to look at the pictures after the 2nd one, but the good thing is, unless the car was repainted, it's single stage paint, and the swirls will come out.
