Widebody b13, like no other .....

Well I was once very big into Nissan Sentra's but as time passed my interests changed and I have moved on. I was building a project car that may not be for everyone especially the purists as it was a show car. My one frustration with my B13 was that the after market was not kind to this platform so everything you see is custom made (You have to remember that I bought this car new from the dealer). The car has been sold and is waiting pick up from the new owner but I thought I would post some pictures before she is gone. Please feel free to ask any questions about the car as I am a very easy going guy.

The car started off as a 1.6, was on it's was to an sr20det, but ended up an se-r so I do have a lot of parts listed for sale in the classified section.

Thanks, Fred

The windows were taken out for the paint job and you have to remember that when I built this car, NO ONE was doing wide bodies so from a show stand point I was doing something different. My tastes and interests have changed as most peoples will, and my next project will be a 1972 sr20det gti-r powered 2 door awd 510 and will focus strictly on performance and handling.

Again, the Sentra was for shows 10 years ago and I do not expect everyone to like it, including myself today, as I like more performance oriented cars over just looks.

I currently have this as my DD and it is not for everyone as well:

Thanks for the props on the Audi ......

Part of the Sentra lives on in the Audi. I took the billet aluminum velocity stack and made my own custom intake with a blitz stainless filter for an SE-R

Yo Fred i remember when you posted the pics of the b13 a while back. The front was bad ass even though the tail was iffy.It was still a nice car imo.The only one i ever saw with a silvia nose too. There is a guy here in nc that put a civic nose and a rsx rear on his nx.The nose was iffy and the tail was bad ass, reverse from yours lol.Guys talked junk to me for saying i was gonna put 300zx headlights on my nx,i never did but it wasn't because they said it would look crappy. It was because my nx got totaled in an accident.Keep it up and do it all over again.

OK, you I'll be more accurate for you ......

Not MANY people were doing wide bodies in 1994 in California where I lived in the Bay Area. And I used to go to all the HIN shows when a bolt on kit and a nice stereo system and chrome wheels would get you best of show. I noticed that you are almost as old as I am and in the import scene, wide bodies were rare 14-15 years ago unlike the hot rods and roadsters who have "been there and done that"
