Well heres the quick run down. During the winter i put a new turbo set up on my 91 se-r. As soon as good weather hit i was at the track. I would race at the track at least one time a week and sometimes twice. The car ran great, put up some pretty good numbers on the dyno and the best i ran at the track was 13.0 at 116MPH with plenty more boost. So one friday about two months ago im driving to the track and the temp gauge just keeps going till eventually the car started to smoke. I wasnt beating on it so i think that might have saved the engine. When i got home i did a compression test cold, 140psi all across the board so i figure the eninge internally must be alright. So i started the tear down and this is where im at now.
Pics in the fabrication stages.
Freshly stripped, prepped, and painted engine bay.
Freshly painted sub frame and new suspenion tech sway bar.
Freshly undercoated wheel wells.
Cross bar for racing harnesses welded in and painted wrinkle black.
Will post more as the setup gets further along.
Thanx

Very nice build! What size are those slicks? Things look to be about the size of the turbo, lol. I think with some nice grippy slicks and some 2-step off the line and you'll reach your goals no problem. Good work and keep us posted.
