I lowered it this weekend. The mod list so far consists of. Texas Speed and Performance clear lid, K+N Filter, smooth bellow for intake, Hooker 3" catback, QTEC 3" cutout, Pro 5.0 Short Shifter, MBA WS.6 shift knob, 02 Adjustable clutch master cyllinder, Eibach Pro-Kit springs, MSD Wires, NGK iridium plugs, and a bunch of free mods.
Also since having it I've had the following replaced. Tranny rebuilt (twice), new ECU, new CATS, new tires, new brakes, fuel system cleaning, and fuel filter replaced.
My thoughts so far. The car absolutely hauls ass. With a good driver and traction it's easily a 12 second car. There's TQ all over the place with it. Scarey actually. It's weird having to be careful as to how you drive. Especially in the rain. If you had a permanent leadfoot, you could EASILY spin out in the rain.

The tranny rebuild was due to the previous owner not driving the car properly. The first rebuild they replaced all the syncros and 3rd, and 4th gears. They forgot to replace the shift fork. After driving it for about a week after the first rebuild the car wouldn't even go into 3rd. So it went back for a second rebuild. The cars are notorious for weak shift forks. Fortunately my dealership opted to replace the aluminum shift fork with a MUCH stronger steel unit. Shifts great now.
As for wheels... There will be no wheel whoring. I will buy one set only. 18x10's don't come cheap.

Makes since, I didn't want to start out sayinga domestics suck, look at all the tranny problems, before I knew what the deal was. Sounds pretty normal though, if it was drivin pretty bad. Now that the tranny is good, go run some 12's. Those cars can be bolt-on monsters.....
I actually like the wheels on it alot, I'm not sure what would be better, except for maybe a black/polished lip look. There is a pewter WS-6 where I am with Black/polished lip rims, and It looks awesome...
Nice ride! Welcome to the F-body club. I just want to save some $$ to put SS chrome wheels on my Z28. I hate the ones my car has right now. I don't understand WHY GM installed these small wheels on this big car. They look ugly.
Here a picture:
I like the ones that your F-body has. Once again, nice ride my friend!

Thanks for the kind words guys, and Greg.. lol I like the car a lot thus far. I would like to have a classic for a daily though. Oh well some day.. lol
tight ride matt!, hey that clear cover looks very nice. so is the car hard to work on? it looks like the engine on a 300zx no room for nothing. how hard is to to work on?
I remember the frist time he let me drive his car... He had me drop it into 3rd and floor it!!! Damn, that car has so much power it snaped my head back like it wasnt sh*t!
those cars are bad ass machines!! Too bad i'll be stompin on him before to long.
Nice ride. The clear lid looks real nice. Never saw that one before.
BTW, you got a fetish for silver cars or was it just a coincidence you found your WS6 in silver?
I've loved WS6's ever since I installed a pretty heavy pounding sound system in one about 5-6 years ago. Awesome cars indeed. When you gonna spray it? I know it's coming cause every F-body gearhead I know either thinks about it or is doing it.

Your cousin has a nice car. If Silver wasn't available, Red is my 2nd choice. He doesn't say on his site what suspension he has on it though. Kind of curious it has a nice stance to it.
Yes, I have a silver fetish. It's an excellent color for contrasting. Plus I've ALWAYS wanted a 2 tone car. I have my paint scheme picked out for this car already..
As for the spray. The car will be getting a healthy dose soon. Minimum of 100shot. At that point I will decide which route to go. All motor, and spray. Or BOOOST
