got a new ride

So I gotz myself one of these for a project car now. I'm giving it to my brother for a B-day gift next month. Hiz azz needs a car that is stylish, fast, and bling blingn yo. So this week I am driving it - NOT towing it from Milwaukee WI to Westmont IL, its like 150 miles maybe. Putting some new bearings in it, and trying to see if she will take the abuse. Its soo clean I can't help but drool, for a 93 car that is insane.

Nice G20, but that Maxima is the sh*t. I love it...I never would've thought to put those type of rims on a Maxima but it looks so sleek and clean though... Nice Max...

You are going to try and drive it 150 miles with a "knock" in the motor?
I love those red G20's. Looks great for $800.

Ok, so I went out and got the car in WI. Drove out there in my Max, paid the dude for the car in cash, got the title, went to the gas station filled both cars up with some 93 BP fuel and started heading home. We got about 10 miles down the road, and we pulled over- (I brought some Walkie Talkies with me so we can chatt) cause my brother noticed it smoking from under the hood. Quick diagnosis on the side of the highway- valve cover leaking oil on the exhaust manifold- no problem, back on the highway. 5 Miles down the road car is starting to loose all power, brothers tells me via the radio, so we pull off into a college that was next to a offramp. We leave the car there and haul ass back to Chicago. 120 Miles one way... we got back in about 2 hours- got stuck in traffic for about 30 min or so, averaging about 120-140MPH whole way up to Chicago, I get in my Navigator, go rent a U-Haul dolly and get back on the road- Navigator needs a tranny but I risked towing with it. U can't drive fast with a dolly- empty or with a car on it so I got to Milwaukee at midnite, put the car on it and roll back to Chicago- stuck in traffic at like 1:30AM by Ohare airport..... Dropped the car off at my work at like 2AM, drop the trailer off, put the Navigator away, and go home. 4AM go to sleep- wake up for work at 6:30AM. I drove it around Friday in the parkinglot, and now I'm looking for a BBird to put in it, run it with the stock ECU for a like a week or 2, and put a S-AFC in it- this is a CHEAP project car, not some Import Show off car with a MENU of performance parts like ECUs, Stand alone managements etc.... I'm going for cheap fast and reliable. I got access to a dyno so its no problem tuning it. Overall- cost of gas- 40 for the Navigator, 25 for my Maxima, and 30 for the dolly + 860 for the car, and U got 955 bux spend total on the car. Now I need a BBird
