My new 2.4 liter Chevy SE-R

I had to sell my SE to catch up with debts, unfortunately, so now I'm driving my parents spare car.

There it is. It's free, and all I have to pay for is gas and insurance. It has a CD player and really nice system to go along with it, so I'm not complaining. It's an automatic, which really sucks, but it does have a LOT of pep for being one. No automatic SR20DE I've ever driven is as quick as this thing is, surprisingly enough! Gotta love those 4 cylinders with some grunt down low!

Anyways, please keep the bashing to a minimum as I do plan on getting another SR20DE product once I'm all caught back up.

Not bad for an economy ride, I guess. My girlfriend used to have an '03 cavalier 2.2L - I personally thought it felt cheap and poorly constructed; the shifter was horrible and the powerband was WAY short. But, you have a Z24, so it might be different. Well, that sucks you had to sell your car to catch up with debts. Good luck finding another SR20 powered ride one day.

That car is just a waste of time. The Z24's aren't bad. I've watched an Ecotec Cavalier run a mid 15 at the local track with just a cone filter installed. The engine has more torque than the SR20 has, but sucks in the high end RPM range just like the SR20 does.

We bought our Cavalier brand new for $12,500. For that price, there isn't a new car out there that can match it's performance and features.

Sorry to hear about your SE. At least you have a reputable vehicle to cruise around with. It's not an 80's junkie

I hope you aren't talking smack on my old Celica. That thing was a beast. A big, slow, and heavy beast, but still.

I found a VR6 Passat for sale last night, and I have to say I'm really interested in it. That is a very sweet engine, and all it'd take is the ghetto airbox mod to scare away the Honda boys. That is one very mean sounding motor.
