I took the engine out of my car with the help of some friends and while it was in the air, I took a look at the oil pan. My dad has recently drove my car sooooo uhhhh, ya, can't believe it ran!
Haha, I know how u feel man! My oil pan got pretty fudged up as well...Oh well, not much you can do about that! Anyways, good luck with the project, and enjoy the headers man!

Back in CT baby!!!
ouch.
but seriously... what, if any, problem is that gonna cause? im just wondering because my oil pan has had a pretty big dent in the front of it since i got the car... I've had it that way for almost 3 years plus however long it was like that before i had it. :S I see people making a big deal about it but i dont understand why?
You think your engine is a beast for running like that? Well this douche took the oil out of my car and it ran a week and a half without oil... Yeah... my engine was a beast. That just proves that nissans are badass.
dude, the pickups in the oil pan are very sensitive, if it gets hit, no more oil flow. And uhh about the running for a week without oil? uhhh must have had like freakin man juice in it or something.

^lmao
yeah, i understand the pickup could get damaged if hit in the right spot. i guess if theres a dent some where theres more chance of hitting the pickup if a next run in with the cement occures, eh. i should try to change mine this summer.
