Re: My Brother's BMW

Nice!! I was just reading about BMW F1's. Back in the day when they could run turbo's, BMW had a 1.6 liter that was putting down over 1000HP!!!

Insanity!!

Re: My Brother's BMW

What a coincidence, I've spent the past couple of days making some changes to BMW's Formula BMW USA's microsite. Among the changes, I've added driver rankings and race results.

I'll have to keep an eye for your brother's name when I update driver rankings and race results. :-)

Michael.

Re: My Brother's BMW

Looks like your brother Trevor is third in rookie points -- not bad.

Re: My Brother's BMW

I've been updating the news releases on the Formula BMW USA site and came across this article: http://www.bmwtransact.com/formulabm...hlight=archive

Re: My Brother's BMW

Bahh. This weekend at the Canadian Grand prix he only turned 8 laps. he had the fastest time but he got punched into the wall by another driver and hit concrete at 110 MPH. The suspension on 3 corners was smashed, the gearbox shatterd, engine block was bent, exhaust system pinced and the list goes on. Myself and 2 other mechanics worked on it feverishly all night, but could not get it done in time for sunday's race The damage came to a little 0ver U$30 000

Trevor and I will be at the US grand prix, although it is unsure whether or not he will be driving due to the cost of the previous weekend.
