Wow man, that really did come out nice! I need to find some of that fabric and get busy on my car this winter.

Re: My $20 Headliner Job

Sweet job, looks nice and tight, and no wrinkles. Can you give us an overview of the job, especially the tricky parts? I'd love to do mine in black.

Re: My $20 Headliner Job

Wasnt any really hard parts, getting it in and out was kinda of a pain cause you have to angle it all perfectly and bend it a lil. Make sure you brush the crap out of the headliner before you glue it so u have a nice surface to work with then as for gluing I used all of that $11 can its 3M for light weight headliners. Just go slow and work the fabric spreading it out nice, do a lil at a time as you go, make sure u get the endges really good or just use thumbtacks.

Re: My $20 Headliner Job

nice and handy, you are!
i removed my headliner when I was fixing the sunroof. I bent a little corner on the headliner and decided to throw it out because it was also sagging. ACtually, I had to throw it away because I had trouble getting the headliner out of the car. After 10 minutes in the summer heat, I got pissed of and just kicked it in the car and took out the two pieces!
