anyway i was coming home from work yesterday heading east on the 8 by sdsu and i was coming up to some traffic, i was doing about 50mph in the #3 lane. and all of the sudden this psycho broad in a windstar in the fast lane veers straight right cutting across all lanes of traffic, and clips a ranger in front of me. the ranger spins out, and i have about 6 carlengths to stop, or i hit him, or i swerve and hit someone else. i hit the brakes but try not to lock up as best as i can but i end up hitting the back corner of the bed of the truck. meanwhile a 4runner hits me from behind, not that hard though. man i am so pissed off. this happened at a time where i saved a decent amount of money to go turbo or ve. funny thing is my car was the most damaged, and my airbags didn't even deploy. i'm guessing because the bumper slid under the back of the truck and missed the sensors? i don't know. my seatbelt saved me for sure though, if i didn't have it on i guarantee i would have gone through the windshield. i went to the doctors and he told me i had just some spasms and swelling in my neck, thank god that no one got seriously hurt. but i swear to god if i don't get money out of this fiasco i'm gonna find out where the chick in the van lives and yeah...
all i have is that pic *** my camera died but the back is also messed up.
lol my friend was listening to the radio coming home at the time and said he heard there was a 7 car pile up on the 8 next to state.
Sigh, yet another needless causualty thanks to stupidity/reckless driving. I wish people would understand that there are other people that inhabit this world.
I hope you get good compensation from her/ insurance. I'm glad you were wearing your seatbelt, especially since the airbags didn't deploy. Let us know how this turns out.
