Soon to be Boostin' *pics*

Hello everyone, my endless quest to turbocharge my G20 is coming to an end. Andreas Miko has been a good mentor when it comes to this stuff along with his partner Ian McPherson with their knowledge and skills.

So right now heres the teaser photo:

And on to begin with the short story.

Three weeks ago, Andreas went ahead and made a custom aluminized steel 3" Exhaust with a 3" Cat eliminator pipe (the pipe is not installed yet). It was all custom mandrel bent to fit the P11 with a reasonably inexpensive but high performing muffler, the famous Magnaflow DUNK (or so they call it).

A big ass muffler and snake looking pipe but it sounds crisp and clean, its NOT LOUD at all for being an N/A car with 3" piping. A very deep tone. The car is dirty as hell so excuse the dirt on the stainless steel muffler.

The following week the JWT S3 Cams were installed, and wow they make a great difference over stock, but I wouldnt recommend getting them with just an air filter and a full exhaust like me, at least have a CAI and Headers before you throw the cams in, with a turbo though.....theyre definitely worth it or so I hear!

You cant see them of course but the engine bay looks good.....for now....

On to the good stuff....this weekend of course the intercooler got installed like I mentioned before, and the block is already drilled, so its basically just slapping on the lines, manifold, turbo and getting the piping made and hit the dyno for some SAFC tuning. Soon....

Intercooler is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Precision Turbo rocks, the damn thing could barely fit in there, but of course the guys made it fit. You can imagine how big it is as it reached my headlights from the bottom of the bumper. Im hoping to cut the front Luke (Digital Racer) style.

The intercooler is connected to my crossmember, it will NEVER move. EVER. The Andreas Miko solid mounts are awesome, no engine movement and I never have to worry about changing the mounts again.

Ive been attracting all kinds of ricers and cars, that intercooler is very noticeable especially at night, but im not racing just yet....dont want anyone getting the wrong idea.

Now im just waiting for the Wings West lip to get painted, install the rear sway bar, and slap the turbo kit on ASAP! Im happy!

-Kevin

Thanks guys! lol Serban I know im probably the biggest ricer right now, ive been getting a lot of attention when I drive though, I dont want to paint the IC black, I like the grillin' IC look! Rob im hoping for it to be, im not stopping on just the kit, after running it for a while I want to build the motor, but first well see how the RR SR handles the power. I have to get new wheels asap too because my tires are shot and the rims are bent. Some 18" HP Evo's would look nice

Good stuff man, good to see another JDM boosted SR20DE. My car is in the shop for some touchup work and then I'll post some pics. I too have the Luke look so I amanxious to see another. I think that is the only right way to wear your intercooler.
Once again good job and as usual the car looks tops.
