Re introducing myself: Kenji

Hi everyone,

It's been a long time since I was here last, and a lot has happened.
I used to drive a 1994 Nissan 100NX 1.6. Some of you will recognize it in the picture below. Since then I've crashed the NX,a nd bought a Nissan 200SX S13 (called 240SX in the USA) with a CA18DET (1.8 litre turbo) engine.
And now I've gone 1 step further and bought a Nissan Sil-Eighty, imported from Japan. It has the famous SR20DET engine and is full drift setup.
My NX at the peak of it's career, 130 bhp:

My SX, 250 bhp:

And my Sil80, around 280ish bhp:

I like all three. Just have to lose ALL the stickers on the first two . Your white Sil80 is clean and mean . Nice rides.

Thanks everyone. The Sil80 can be lowered more, as it's on adjustable Tein suspension, but since it's my daily driver, I need this height to clear the speedbumps
And I know the graphics aren't to everyone's taste, but to keep up the driftstyle, I decided to go all out. I like 'em, and in the end, I'm the one driving the car.
The Sil80 will receive a wing, but not as outrageous than the SX and NX. First up, I'm saving some money to buy a new rearbumper, as the previous one is wrecked.
The yellow shoulderpieces on the bucket seats will be re-upholstered with dark blue fabric, and the rollcage will be powdercoated blue as well. Along with blue graphics on the car, it will stand out quite a bit, I think.

Nice Sil-80....as long as you don't sticker it up and put a huge wing on it.

@ Ninety-Nine SE-L: The centre hole is custom made, it feeds cold air to the GReddy oil cooler mounted behind it.
Current mods to the Sil80:
- Blitz SUS stainless steel filter
- GReddy Type S blowoff valve
- Garrett T28bb turbo with uprated internal wastegate
- ARC intercooler
- Wise Sports 3" turboback exhaust (bloody loud: 125-ish dB)
- GReddy boost controller
- GRex/GReddy oil cooler
- GReddy oilfilter relocation kit
- Tein adjustable suspension
- Cusco camber kit
- Cusco strutbraces front and rear
- Cusco antiroll bars
- Advan steering wheel
- Advan lightweight 16" wheels
- Drift handbrake
- GReddy gauges: Exhaust temp, oil press and boost.
- BN Sports D1 bodykit (minus rear bumper )
and perhaps a few more things...but I forgot

@ Stratton: the lip on the NX fitted reasonably well, but there was quite a gap between the headlights and where the bumper starts, so I had to fill up a half an inch wide gap there.
Oh, and it cannot handle the effects of a NX pressing it against a guardrail at 80 mph..... (I was pushed off the road, got in a spin and crashed against the railing. The guy who pushed me off the road pulled a nice and friendly hit-and-run on me ). The NX was totalled, unfortunately
