why i cant respect virginia beach cops

So i finally get off work tonight and im cruising down general booth blvd to go see a friend. Im the only car on the road and next thing i know ive got blue lights in my mirror. So the dude pulls me over and says "i pulled you over for speeding, you were doing 51 in a 35". So i respond, i was doing 51 ill admit, but its in a 45. the sign is right back there. So he preceeds to tell me that i was actually about 100ft before the sign when he clocked me and it was still a 35 then. Now we all know that when you see the speed limit sign in front of you, you start accelerating to that speed. THen he informs me that the city of virginia beach just raised the court cost/processing fee to $40 instaed of $30 like it used to be. Like it costs $40 of labor to punch my licence into a computer???? Then to top it all off, as i am going the speed limit down general booth after i get my ticket. he passes me! no lights on... If im going the speed limit and he passes me, he is SPEEDING!! goddamn hipocrites. long story short, there goes 1 weeks paycheck and im not going to the car show tomorrow anymore. On a side note, other things i have been ticketed or pulled over for in virginia beach: headlight out, skateboarding (3am in october wheni m the only one on the boardwalk), HOV-2 violation ( at 5:58... 2 minutes before they werent HOV anymore), and failure to signal before making a turn. i see these guys use discresion every day, this girl i know has been pulled over 6 times (including 78 in a 55) and never gotten a ticket. But if i forget to signal they are all over my ass. good to know that we have them there to protect and serve against dangerous people like me.

What happened to all the post on this thread? Did it get out of hand?

damn i feel your pain man. i was driving on va.beach blvd turning onto independence when a 300z pulls up to me in the turn lane at the stoplight. he revs and i laugh (1) because there was no match and (2) i had my family in the car. we proceed thru the turn and when we straightn up i gave it moderate gas(but nothing like full throttle racing) and he floors it and takes off. i take the next turn and a cop jumps all over me and follows me into a parking lot (without his lights of course). he accuses me of racing. i said did you see the 300z take off and he said yeah. i told him that is who you should have gone after not me. he floored it not me. the officer replied that is not what i saw. i thought to myself what a prick, if he saw the entire thing then why didn't he pull me over sooner and with lights......what a dick.. if i ever go to va beach now it is only to see family and i make sure i drive cautiously. va beach cops are major dicks.
