I am now in the process of getting a new motor, and will be ready for an install in about 2-3weeks.
can anyone help me with the install, look's like we would need to do it at my house but there is a chance that I will have access to a shop(with lifts and everything ), there are 2 shops I might have access too, but it's still up in the air.
so I have 2 questions
Who can help?
What do I need?, anyparts, even the simple stuff like oil
this would be on a weekend, just about any saturday and/or sunday is good for me.

maybe we can do both on the same day, if you are not far away I might be able to tow my car or something?
I'd be willing to help just as a learning experience (read: I WOULD ONLY HAVE A VAGUE IDEA WHAT I'M DOING, SO YOU'D BETTER KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING). Just not on the weekend before Veteran's Day, I'll be out of town.

Not following the FSM while adjusting timing = engine go boom. Now I have a Mazda 3 hatch. Can't wait for a header!

I do And the SR20 peeps that I will have here will have skillz if they are alll free that weekend. It's up to you. If you plan to do it when I do mines. I will give you some advice. Prep the motor!
1.take the battery out.
2.Disconnect everything from the motor.
3.Put all of the bolts in marked sandwich bags.
4.drain all of the fluids from the motor.
Buy replacement fluids for eveything.
if my hand wasn't messed up from getting shocked i would be over your place to help you out joel. after all you took care of me bro
