Ok - for all those that want to go lets get a plan setup....
I'm guessing from erlanger area we are talking about around an hour and a half drive or a little more. So - depending on when people want to get there keep that in mind..... To give people a chance to get to the "meeting" place want to do a W-Aful house or dunkin donuts or something? We could meet there like 30mins before and anyone from around here could meet there. Then it sounds like we need a stop in Lexington to meet some peeps there......
So:
1. What time do people want to meet sunday morning?
2. Where do you want to meet?
3. How many people are going to meet up with us in lexington and where?
4. Who is in for sure? I'm in, my boy with the red NX is in, and another bud with a 200sx se-r is in from my area......
Others??
chris

I'm joining as you get to Lex. at the North Broadway exit. I'd like it if someone would call me when they got to Georgetown, so I can be waiting on I 75.

Last November, we all met up at a gas station *just* off the Clay City exit of the Mountain Parkway
about 30 minutes before the gates open at the track (about 9:30am). I will offer up to meet there as well. You cannot
miss the gas station, as it's the only one at the only Clay City exit off the Parkway.
My turbo black '93 will be there. Has big green decals of my business logo all over it, and you cannot miss it from
100 feet away.
Anybody else want to meet up there at around 9:30am, then all of us drive the 2 miles to the track
together as a caravan?
BTW - would anyone need/use it if I brought a snap on hand held anaylzer? It tells you basically all the consult does however doesn't have all the features (but most).

I think all the cincy/n.ky boy'z will be meeting up say 8:00am? at the waffle house in walton (take 75S towards lexington, its about 20+mins past cincy, its the next exit pas the Richwood exit, you'll see 75 split ito 75 and 71, stay on 75 and the next exit is the Walton/Verona exit. You'll see clarion on the right (hehe). Take a left off the exit and waffle house is on the right. We'll meet up there and head out as soon as we collect.
I'm thinking of buying some cheap ass walkie talkies for fun on the drive down - anyone up for that?
So.... what time will you all be passing through Lex.?
BTW... Do not speed after you pass G-Town! There are cops with laser and radar out there almost every day.
i want to get a few highway shots with my digital camcorder, like of everyone driving down the highway in a straight line? is it possible that we would have time for that, and 8 sounds fine to me. Brian
IF you guys leave Walton at 8am, then you should arrive at the Clay City exit off the Mountain Parkway at roughly 9:45am. Gates open at 10am. Perfect.
1 hour to Lexington...15 minutes to Winchester/Mt. Parkway split....15 minutes down Parkway to Clay City exit and little 'ol me waiting at the white gas station just off the exit...15 minutes to spare.
It might take a little longer to get to Clay City, they are working on I64 starting at the exit. The speed limit is 45 in some places, and cops are out there checking peoples speed. Double fines in construction areas.
Ok seprise your meeting us at the gas station right?
I don't know who is/isn't going but if your going and want to caravan with the walton folks call me on my cell at 513-383-9927, right now voice mail is up, just leave me a message.
SE-R sam, I'm guessing we'll hit georgetown before 9 if we leave at 8am. Get me your cell and I'll call you.
Ah, that's right. I forgot about the construction *just* after the I-64/75 split. I drove through that on Thursday, coming back from Louisville.
Sam's right: Go 45mph. 55mph if you've got a quality radar detector, tops. There are TWO of those self-powered radar guns working in that zone (the type that show you your speed, just to be nice).
