Few of the local Maxima guys and I are trying to secure Autobahn Country Club (SE-R convention 2007 track) this coming June for the Maxima Convention. We extended the invitation to the track to any local 240SX owners and Sentra owners. I know we are NOT going to have a HUGE showing of Maximas for this, and this is why we need other Nissan models participating in this - in order for this to actually happen.
So how many of you would be interested in attending this event ? I will have a date for you guys soon. I'm working with a Nissan dealership for a sponsorship in this event- so that some of the track fees are absorbed by them.
Please PM me or just post here. If a MOD wants to sticky this or something that would be awesome. Thanks.

You might want to check w/ MVP Track Time about combining with one of their weekends. I haven't run with this group yet, but I plan too. They already have a June weekend at Autobahn, so I don't know if your date for the Maxima day has been set or if you have flexibility.
It would work well if you could join w/ them to reduce your headaches. There is no guarantee I can make it in June, but I'll keep an eye on it. Autobahn is a super nice track that is for sure.
When you get some additional information, I would be willing to sticky this for you - or I'm sure Kent would too.
Josh,
Thanks for the info, we where thinking of having the track day on a Friday, so that we can have Sat and Sunday to ourselfs for the rest of the convention activities. I'm waiting for info from a possible sponsor for the event, they actually own part of Autobahn Country Club. Once I get any info from them, and they help us out.... I will pretty much take any date they will give us- as long as its around the weekend time.
Lou- your car is still not finished ? I thought you got a motor put in it already ?
Kent- we are looking at price around 150 dollars give or take 10/20 bux for a whole day. It will be priced similar to that of the SE-R convention if not less. I am just trying to figure out how much assist we can get from the main sponsor of this event.
I use to work for Autobarn nissan, I got them to sponsor ChicagoZ. You should try talking to Synth19 on chicagoz, hes a straight up guy and it would work out nice because Autobarn is a part owner of autobahn so they might really hook you guys up if you got a nissan meet at the track.

I posted on this thread in the B15sentra forum. I am interested as well and will watch for date and more information. Never been on that track and would love to check it out.
