Engine Block Needed

I'm looking for a decent n/a block for my project build. I'd prefer southern Wisconsin, but I may travel as far north as the cities and as far south as Springfield if thats what it takes to get what I need. I'd prefer it to be both head and block, but if the block's all you got that's fine. Outer components not needed.

Post up or PM if you've got anything along with info on the condition of the engine and location. I'm not looking to spend big bucks since I have the equipment already for the mods I'm thinking of doing, so something already modded isn't really what I'm looking for.

Thanks guys, I want to buy from fellow members rather than eBay it or import it. If you've got something laying around, let's make a deal!

I'm 1/2 hour south of chicago and just hydrolocked a motor that I'm trying to get rid of and it had less than 3,000 miles on it since I bought it from soko.
Not sure how to tell if the head was lifted though?

In about 3 weeks I should have a short block out of my B13 (155k miles). It does have a lower end knock because it was run low on oil sue to a rusty oil pan. I was in the car when the bearing spun and it was only 3 blocks from the house, so a set of bearings might just sneak by. The rest is solid as far as I know (i.e. no smoking or rattles other than the bearing). I needed the head for my car. If you come and get it, its yours. Im on the nw side of Chicago.

i have one that i blew the rockers on a few years ago its a stock de motor with round 60k on motor. give me a price, just want it out of my garge. live on north side of chicago..email me since i dont visit the site to much..

I know that you said you wanted an n/a block, but just in case you might be interested I have a gtir long block and intake manifold (doesn't have turbo, wiring, injectors/rail) that I have been trying to get rid of for a while. I'm located in Omaha, NE (mapquest says 7hrs away to your profile location), but I would be willing to meet halfway if we could agree on a price. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.

Yes, sorry for the delay. To everyone who has sent a PM, I haven't forgotten and I'll send responses tomorrow after work. Things got a little hectic lately and I zipped by the forum for maybe a minute a day this week. I'll get on it ASAP so you guys aren't hangin'.
