Stock Exhaust System B15

Hey guys I'm looking for a complete stock exhaust system for my brother's spec v. I'm not sure what the setup is like but the aftermarket exhaust he put on doesn't have a cat or downstream sensor. I need to take it in for to emission testing. Can someone tell me how many cats are on the this car?

If i remember correctly it has two cats. One is part of the manifold and one is secondary. Do they visually inspect for the cats?? I have a spare stillen cheater box for the rear o2 sensor. Or i have a stock manifold and front pipe with 15K miles on it. Pretty pricey though.. But its got all the bolts and gaskets and i might even have a rear o2 sensor.... PM me for more info

Yea the pre cat is on the mani, and the other cat is where they normaly are. One O2 sensor will be in the manifold and the other will be before the second cat. I used an O2 sensor sim, which is a spark plug non fouler.

Will it work if I just get a cat installed and add the sensor or would it be better to just get the original back on?

An aftermarket cat most likely will not work. From my trials being a technician.
Aftermarket cats do not work well with import cars. And almost always set a catalyst efficiency code turning on the check engine light

Maybe not in all cases but I past my emissions with an universal aftermarket cat made by walker.
