Are any of you guys wanting to meet up this Friday night for a little cruising? I should be out and about that night after work. I would love more than anything to come out this Saturday Tony, but my new DJ job has me working till 12 am every Saturday!!!!! Really sucks, I would otherwise be there this Saturday in a heart beat....
ill prolly be down for a little cruise on friday after work. around 9-930 ish. where and when....
i had a quick question... do any of you think that i could make an exhaust that sounds just as good as an HKS by using a couple of resonators and a good muffler like magnaflow or something. i am looking for something that is going to be really quiet and deep tones and will sound mean on WOT. my HKS hasn't shipped and i am thinkning about making my own.

ever thought about vrs? i really like mine, and there cheap. i bought the piping kit and it was cheap as hell and pretty easy to install. vrsexhaust.com
Where would be the easiest spot for you to meet up Cory? After work I need to run home and get my car, then we could meet up where ever.....
probably somewhere around apple valley or rosemount, i can be ready to go around 930 or so. then we can meet up with tony and go to midway or somthing...
i can meet up, but it will have to be around 10-10:30. which muffler did you get with yours cory? does the vrs have a really low tone and absolutely no "ricey" sound to it? and last is there as little cabin noise as possible because i am really annoyed with mine.
ALright....so I think we got two or three going, I give you a call on Thursday to get some directions from you Cory. Or you could just post some up, so all the guys could know where we are meeting.
Hey MN_SR0 you ever thought about just getting one custom fabbed up, thats what I did and I got the exact sound I wanted!....I have a guy that does amazing work and very inexpensive. My full 3in with flanges and piping including install, was about $300, full stainless. Mine is probably louder than what your going for, but we could figure it out....
i found out not long ago that my HKS is being shipped soon, so i should have it after the bodywork/paint is done (this next week). i want to meet up so let me know if there is going to be 2 places everyone is going to meet, but the earliest i can leave to meet up is 10 or so. so someone let me know what you all are doing...

not a bad question, but a bad question for this area. yes you can run the cams in your car from a rwd det, but keep these qs to the right threads. not trying to be an ass but you know.
looks like its going to be all rainy and crappy out tonight. maybe we could do the burnsville thing that tony mentioned on saturday?? he was thinking of seeing if we could get a few guys to meet up at the burnsville parking lot. send him a pm or give me a call. he posted his number.

who cares, no one from mn will go anyway ......its all up to you guys to get a meet together, me and cory have been working on this for at least a year now. If somebody wants to get something serious together just give me a call, my number is up a couple of posts. Cory and jayme know that i am down whenever. But i don't really want to waste my time anymore trying to get stuff together. It's on you guys to get sh*t together.
oh and don't post tech questions in this thread...this is a LOCAL thread. and we dont have to meet in Apple valley or Rosemount, cory was just suggesting this to get the ball rolling...Me and him are down to go anywhere in the metro area....so if you dont want to drive down here suggest something else if you really want to meet up. This is a years worth of frustration so sorry if i sound like a dick, i guess im just to into this stuff
