Jason Tukkanen for the first event. He is Micha's regular. There are a few possibilities for the job, but nothing is set yet. Qualifications for the job will include garage space to store and work on the car, and owning a tow vehicle would be nice too. Good luck with the kid. Honestly though, Micha, Jake, and everyone else has kids too.

Good deal, starting out with an expereinced navvie is the way to go IMHO.
Yeah, I expect to be back out for at least several of the rally-x events this year, as well as SS, OFPR and LSPR. But the earlier part of the year is likely to be just too hectic, with the kid, finishing the new house, moving, new job, etc.
BTW, I think the first rally-x of the year will be in Feb down in Rochester at the Donovan place. Wish I could be there.

Jk! We should all meet up take some group pictures and have a good ol time
That would be cool. We should do it a rallyx or autox. If you need tires or service, or if you're in the area stop by the shop I work at... Tires Plus-Northtown.
Anybody have SR20DET's in here? I was just wondering because I'm hoping to buy one from a shop in Minnesota otherwise I'll order one from California. Anybody know of a shop and how much?
track time at St. Cloud and DCTC - I went a couple of times in 03, none this last summer unfortunately - I definitely plan on hitting it hard this year
I met a member here at St. Cloud - he had a red classic, w/ Avenir, Motivationals, 15" gunmetal OZ superleggeras - pretty fast car. I've kicked some ass even w/ my stock (at the time) egg. Check out the website - some of the most fun you can have and cheap too, 6+ hrs. at St. Cloud for $60

I met the guy with the red classic at St. Cloud too. I've been to a lot of those events with my WRX. Those events are fun. The best track days I've found however are with the corvette club at BIR. All day long for $150 and no lines to get on the track. Another good one is Mid-America Motorplex, which is a much safer and tighter track.
we should just go down and meet at shepard or something. hahaha id like to get together with some of these other minnesota guys, if anyone wants to sometime this weekend when ever give me a call. cell- 612 418 5405 leave a message

Is there a drag strip at this place or autox or both? How's it set up? Is it of Highway 23?
I get to the Twin Cities frequently (parents-Minnetonka) even though I live in Milwaukee. So.... if you guys post your meet ups or PM me, You just might have an extra '92 NX show up!

take 94 north to 22 (Clearwater/Annandale exit), go right (east) - follow that 6 or so miles to H10 - go left on H10 (north) - follow for ~10mi., it is directly across from the prison on your right hand side - 23 crosses H10 a couple miles north of the track.
no strip, but AARRF has a high speed circuit, a small autoX-like circuit and a drift pad all at the same time - it takes awhile for the run groups to get their 10-15 min. runs, but most people break right after lunch, so you can drive for hours in the afternoon (I thrashed the egg on three straight 15+min. runs w/ only a minute downtime in between to stage - chunked the 2 fronts and snapped all the hangers on the B-pipe :P)
other groups all do their own thing, setting up the courses differently - Nordstern (MN Porsche club) sets up some really good runs
btw - I found out about AARRF on the ClubSi Midwest forum - the organizers are very friendly, very cool and even post up reminders there and take suggestions for course design
