7hp 220VAC 25-35CFM industrial duty 80-gal air compressor.
This is a serious compressor. Actual CFM unknown, since it
has a stronger than original motor on it.
The compressor was originally built in 1961 by Westinghouse
Electric. It has a two-stage compressor motor, driven by a
recently replaced 7hp Baldor industrial duty motor.
To buy a compressor like this new, you'd have to shell out
$2500-$4000. I want $500.
I don't know the actual CFM rating with the newer motor on it,
but I have run a sandblaster wide open unregulated @ 200psi
continuously for over an hour, and when I was done, I ran to the
compressor, and while running, it had 165-170psi pressure still.
I would guess you could run two die grinders, and misc air tools
of it continuously.
The compressor is industrial duty, which means it was designed to
be servicable, run 24x7 with minimal downtime for maintenance, and
last virtually forever.
It weighs *a lot*. I used a harbor freight large engine hoist set at
the 1-ton (max reach) configuration to lift and wrangle it around.
I will palletize it and get it ready for lift-gate pickup if the buyer
arranges/pays for shipping. I will also be willing to help load it into
a pickup truck or trailer if somebody wants to drive up for it.
To pick this up, will require a minimum of a 1/2 ton pickup, and
at least 3 guys. I might be able to round up a couple of hands
in this area if you drive up solo. You will require help getting it
off, engine hoist or not.
