well with any used motor it's a good idea to do the gaskets, main seals, distributor o-ring, etc. If you have an aftermarket header and intake, then you're good. The stock pieces will work, but will choke the engine a bit.

if you do a search hear on the forum you will find all your answers. that's how I did it. But to answer your questions...the only wires you will cut is the IACV connector. The VE has a newer solenoid, so you will need to use the connector (purple) that comes with it. At the same time you will need to extend the wiring a bit since it sits in a different spot on the VE intake manifold. We will swap over all your accessories (alternator, A/C compressor w/ mounting plate, power steering pump, throttle body) and motor mounts. You will need at least two adapters for the heater core coolant lines since the VE uses a different size. You will also need two adapters for the throttle body since the VE uses bigger coolant lines to that as well. The only cutting you will need to do is to your distributor. You will need to slot the bottom tab or cut it off completely. You will only have one bolt holding it on. That's all I can think of at the moment and I can't think of the adapter sizes you need at the moment. But I'm sure you can search here.
