ny 907A title

hey guys my story is that i bought this old car from a junkyard in upstate. the car is a 1982 datsun 310 with super low miles. i drove it outta the yard. now the thing is i want to know what do i need and where do i need to go to get a title for it because when i bought it the junkyard only gave me a receipt. they said they turned the title in to albany. if anyone has aver dealt with this before your input would be much appreciated.

Go down to your local DMV and fill out a forum for a new title..Tell them how you got the car etc. and they should lead you in the right way..best of luck

thats what i though of doing i was just wondering if anyone new a quicker way to go about it. thanks though
