Rally New York in upstate, NY...

Its coming soon and they have some pretty nice cars that roll up. Real serious rally guys from all over. The info is on www.rallynewyork.com . It looks like this one will be pretty cool. Wouldn't be bad to have a couple of us Nissan guys roll up and meet and put some names to the faces. I will be there.

Today was a nice event. Went there and saw some sweet ass cars. Some guy from Jersey rolled out in a black R32 Skyline. I met some dude from this forum that has the same exact car as me too lol. The rally cars were insane too. I will be there tomorrow too to watch. Nissans come out! There was a Datsun 240Z rally car there too.

I'm so tempted to go there on Sat... I wish it went through Sunday because i have to pick up my g/f in that area on Sunday.. I drove in a rallycross near there last winter.. It's a blast to watch.. Watching the Maine Forest Rally was simply nuts!

Hi Guys,
I was there working the event for the 5th consecutive year. I worked the flying finish time controls for stages 6, 8, 11, 13, and 21. I brought 50 of A.M.E.C.'s pylons to set up six chicanes [exactly accoording to the route book] on tarmac stage 21. It was awesome as usual. The only Nissan was Greg Healey's 240-Z. Greg finished the rally 21st overall!. I'm not sure if he was first in class or not. I know there were only 2 RWD cars entered. Dan Brosnan's Group 5 SE-R is parked for now as he bought a Galant VR4.
Nissans are a rare sight in rallying, surely due to Nissan not caring a bit about it. I still can't figure out what they are waiting for to bring us an AWD SE-R. The torquey QR would work real well with AWD.
Andy, I hope the little white SE-R is doing well.
