have you ever got 20-25 runs in at a track? That is the only reason that I go to a drag day event (track rental) because at a huge event you only get 2-3 runs or maybe 4-5 runs. I would like to get my moneys worth.

come on down and sign up... you will have to just go around and around and not stop so get ready for it. A good friend of mine is the one holding this event, his first drag day that he put on he ran his car 34 times that day. now talk about getting your moneys worth.

The best thing to do is go onto CCDSM.net and look into the drag day post and there are easy instructions on payment and the days events. Hope to see you up there. I will not be running but I will be spectating.

Hey guys! I am the person setting up this event and I got a couple emails so I figured I would swing by. Here is the detail information you are looking for. It also includes the address to send payment to. You can also drop off your payment at Victor Research in east Hartford if this is easier for you.

Make this your last event of the season!

We all know how much turbo cars love the cold weather well mark your calendars for that one last event to hit your personal best ET. CCDSM in conjunction with Victor Research is proud to bring you CCDSM Day at the Valley. This will be an open track rental now. All we need to get is 50 cars and we have a full day of racing with your friends.

Please make sure your car is in perfect working order (Leaks, tight IC pipes, etc etc.) in order to prevent breakdowns and slow downs in the lanes. We all know things happen but just double check. I know this is several months away but I look forward to a great day of racing at this final event of the year.

Full details as well as payment information can be found at the link below:

Just wanted to give you a heads up that we are only two weeks away from the CCDSM track rental at Lebanon Valley Dragway. Its not to late to sign up. Should be a great day. Looking to have about 50 cars. This means you will get a ton of runs.

You can get information by clicking the link below:

Hope to see some of you there.

Thanks for the space.

Drag Day- October 28, 2005

MAJOR ANNOUCEMENT DECIDED TODAY. Please read below:

Ok guys,

Major change in the plans for our drag day event. As you may or may not have known Lebanon Valley Dragway was under water this last week with the heavy rain we have been getting the last few days. This weekend was the King of the Hill however due to the rain it did not happen. This is where things got interesting. Friday as some of you know the Pike.net rented the track. Due to the rain they have decided to reschedule their event to October 28.

Where do we come into this you ask, well its quite simple really, our list was not very large although several people are signing up last minute I could rely on that so I told the track lady to go ahead and open up 10 spots to those who called. Last night Chris from thepike.net contacted me about combining lists. I had no problem with that and we talked it out. Well as our luck should have it the track decided to hold their king of the hill event on FRIDAY the 21 and toss us in with them. So basically it would be over 125 cars with the addition of the pike racers. I emailed the lady at the track and she stated that we would get ONE lane all to ourselves while they ran bracket in the other lane. Of course I did not like that idea so here is what has been decided for this event:

We are going to move our list and combine it with thepike.net. This is going to be a club event. A combination of Connecticut Club DSM, ThePike.net, and Late Model Mustang Club. Nothing changes except the date. The event will now be held on October 28, 2005.

If youre on the list and CAN NOT make the new date you need to contact me ASAP so that I can get your money back to you. If you can make the date just show up on the 28 rather then the 21. This event will be the last event of the year for LVD as well as most of us so lets make it a great one.

So to recap:

-Drag Day will be held on October 28, 2005 a week later originally scheduled.
-There will be an 85 car CAP to help please both clubs
-Cost will remain the same however if you would like to help a needy family whose daughter is suffering from cancer we are accepting an additional 5 dollars to help pay for bills they have incurred throughout the year

If you have any questions please contact me ASAP at CCDSM@kevins90gsx.com and I will get back to you just as soon as I get your message.

Thank you and see you all on Friday October 28 at Lebanon Valley Dragway. Big thanks to Chris from the Pike.net for working with me to help us all have a great track event.

Information page still remains at:
