Not to my knowledge. Mandrel machines are extremely expensive, and I've never heard of one in the Tri-State area. Lots of guys have their systems pieced togther from mandrel bent piping which can be bought quite easily. John Malapetsa up in Ct. made mine out of Dynomax 2 1/2" mandrel piping, I think he used 2 straight sections, and 2 180 degree sections. A chop saw was used to custom cut each section, then it was all welded together.
Oh my I am so sorry. I meant they have mandrel bent pipe. They weld that together after they fit your car. They don't have a machine. Chris is right, there isn't a machine anywhere in this area.
And for the guy in Jackson, the shop is called mufflex. Alot of people around here go to them. They are nice, just tell Bill that Chrissy sent you.
chrissy,
could you please let me know the name and location of the muffler shop near trenton. i need to have a glasspack, muffler and tip installed sometime this week or next so i can finally go pass my inspection. i'm actually in the cherry hill area, so if there any other 'reputable' shops down here, please let me know who/where they are. thanks in advance!
Simon, I am embarrassed that you do not recommend Kenny or Trevor up at Meineke on Church and Remsen. They do great work. Manhattan Motorsports used to do slip fit mandrel exhaust. Junior....aaaah Junior, he was the best but they closed down. Mike, when you are ready I will talk to Kenny and tell exactly the kind of bends you need. (For those that don't know slip fit is not crush bend, it where the ends are flared out and the second pipe is slipped into it. You do not lose and bends.)

But the Junior isnt closed he has a shop in whitestone called RJ's and now that JC performance is out it Canarsie we have another option since he learned from Junior.
