Paint jobs?

Does anyone happen to know a cheap place that paints cars in ny .

my car needs a new paint job since the roof paint is cracking bad and my fenders were just replaced so there still bare.

I was thinking of MAACO , what do you guys think .......... any info would help.

maaco certainly works if you are looking for cheap. i purchased one car which had a maaco paint job and it was less than stellar - tons of over spray.

also, check local vocational schools and prisons. many of them have body shops.

My friend owns a body shop in Worcester, they do superb work. However, they are not cheap. They quoted me $2000 if i just dropped the car off and picked it up with the new paint, or around $1200-$1400 if i took off the bumpers, lights, door handles...ect.
