sound like fun? I just graduated college and I got some time to fix my baby up. I have a Nissan clutch kit from Mossy to install on the B13. I could sure use some help and expertise on this project, as well as some time-saving tools.
I remember trying to removing the axle 4 years ago to replace the CV boot, and failed miserably... had to get it towed! So I know I will fail once again!
It'd be nice if someone could also adjust my timing and check for some other minor hiccups.
Don't see too many Roc folks on the forum - if you're looking for a shop, I brought mine to Suspension Worx, they did a good job for less than they quoted me for and I ended up talking to them for a while, they seem very down to earth.

well, nevermind then. I was hoping to get some SE-R guys to meet up and work on it together... instead, some of my friends here got me a gift certificate today (for graduation) to have it done by a local shop that I've frequented.
yeah, muleman, I was going to ask you, but I remembered how busy you might be. (we emailed a couple times several years ago, if you remember). since you powdercoat your tranny cases, i figured you'd be prety quick at a clutch install
I usually go to Lovetro Auto. He's really nice and has done some things for free for me and my roomate. Not a "performance" shop, but he loves it when the SE-R and my friend's GS-R go in.
randy is selling the shop =( I live in rochester but i have 2 sr20 motor job i have to do
He's selling the business to the guy he's going to work for. Phoenix Imports will be dissolved, the equipment moved and the doors closed. However, he'll still be wrenching cars but as an employee and not an owner. He'll be working at a place called Harwood Enterprises on Willowbrook Road in Victor.
hmmm... just got a quote. $400! He said it would take him roughly 7 hours to do. He also gave me a $50 "discount" for being a recent college grad. But that's still too much. And he understood. Doesn't think it is worth it for me.
My friends said they would pay up to around $250, but I don't want them to do that anymore.
So, you guys still want to do something about it? Please.... I buy GREAT beers and grill above-average steaks! (Guiness, Young's Chocolate Stout, Chimay, Newcastle... and the staples Molson, Yuengling, etc...) Kinda' desparate because I have to start driving to all these job interviews in NYC and Philly...
