General Newbie Audio Questions

I've just bought a pair of 2 way coaxial Jensen 6.5" speakers (125W peak/ 40 rms).

1. What does 2 way coaxial means? The speaker has a tweater, so I'm guessing it's good at highs ? and mids? no bass? or is that 3 way? and what does coaxial stands for?

2. So I've installed them in the back and I thought I would upgrade my factore crappy speakers, but the bottom freq sounds are completely sh*tty now. Is that because the 2 way speakers aren't ment for any bass?

3. So I will try to put these Jensen speakers upfront and put factory speakers back in the trunk. Question is what is the width of the speakers in order for them to fit in B14 doors? These are 63mm or 2.5", will they fit?

4. How do you replace front speakers? Ie how do you take front door panel off? is it a PITA?

i put sony xplod 3ways in my doors and my rear deck, and there was no bass, i hated it
so i bought a kicker component system for the rear only, and it sounds great,... comes with a speaker, crossover, and tweeter
and the bass is good, and everything in conjunction sounds real good, i might get a set for the front

Coaxials means that the tweeter is mounted on the top of the woofer. If you want good mids from front speakers expect to go to seperates (meaning a speaker and a tweeter that is mounted seperate). If you want the ultimate go with a three way set up, with a woofer in the doors, 5 1/4 in a custom kick with tweeter. I had the Diamond Audio Hex series three ways which was about 600 for the set plus 400 for the kick panels. you should be able to spend $250 and get a decent set of seperates. If you want bass go with subs.
