Real life impressions on mods

I have seen this question about every time I turn around. " What was your impressions after doing that mod?"

I was hoping I could give my impressions on the mods I have done and other give there input on there mods. Hopefully this will give some people out there a idea of what they can espect out of a mod and guage what they have heard from real expiriences instead of whats on paper. Some companies claim alot more gain than what they really give.

Pace Setter Header.-----Worth every penny! Gained all around but especially gave new life to top end RPM's Worth the $150 I paid for it.

PLace Racing CAI-----Really felt more torque from this mod. All around a good mod, Good Noticeable power gain. Worth the $200 I paid for it.

2 1/4 cat-back exhaust crush bent-----Felt a small power lose in low RPM's. High RPM's felt a little stronger. Times @ local 1/8 Drag strip stayed consistant and at times a little lower over stock exhaust.

Pace Setter Short Shifter----Throws was about 40% shorter at lowest adjustment. Smooth and precise mod. Worth the $60 I paid for it.

Energy Suspension Shifter Bushing----Installed in conjuction with the Short shifter. I believe this contributed highly to the more precise feel of the shifter. Worth the $7.95 I paid for it.

Advancing Timing----A Cheap Mod! Noticable power gain. A must do for any SR20DE car.

Hope this helps anyone wandering about the performance of these mods.

Darren

*MSD 8.5mm wires.....dont miss a spark
*fidanza 8lb flywheel.......the ability to haul ass
*act hd clutch......awesome engagement
*UR aluminum u/d pulleys......made my crank a happy crank!
*pacesetter short shifter......ferrarri like shifting...the stick is relatively high but the throw is sickly short!
*advanced timing.....everyone agrees!
*kyb struts......pretty stiff
