hey guys

hi my name is chris and im from greenforest,arkansas. i am going to pick up a 93 nx2000 with the electric blue color. they want 3000 for it and its really nice looking and running wise could some of yall plz tell me lil bit about the nx2000. is there an very big aftermarket for these cars? and also could yall tell me the things i should look for im going to go get it this weekend

Rust is bad... test drive it, and, when you're in 5th gear, let off the gas.... then, punch it (still in 5th). Repeat 2 more times. If it stays in gear you're good.... sometimes they'll pop out under load, going uphill, etc.

No overheating, easy to start, rock solid idle, straight body, check door jams and under hood for repair/accident stickers... make sure the insides of the fenders are all the same color (indicating bodywork).....

hey guys its me again and i have a question i just bought the nx2000 and it runns pretty good but now that i got it and acttully got to get on it it seems to idle find where is the idle suppose to be at?, and when u get on it it does ok up til about 4000 rpms then it seems like it hits a brick wall what could it be?. and does anyone have a vid of a stock nx2000 so i can see how they are suppose to run b/c it doesnt seem to be as quick as its suppose to be any ideas?

The idle should be 850-950rpm normally.

Didnt you take the car above 4k when you test drove it? Sounds like it could be a MAF problem.

i would have but the guy that owns the dealership rode with me but the good thing is the guy said if i found something wrong with it he would help me fix it but ill check the maf tomarrow anything else it could be?

x 2 mine wouldnt go past 5 grand replace the MAF and bam 7500 all day
