SR20DET in '88 Sentra ZXE

I have a 1988 Nissan Sentra 1.6 ZXE. I was wondering if it was at all possible to put an SR20DET engine in my car. If so then what needs done to fit it in, engine mounts etc.

Also since all of the SR20DET engines i can find are in RWD cars or have an inline transmission on them, i was a bit confused whether I could put a transaxle gear box on it and mount it hopefully on the same mounts as the previous engine, or if i might have to convert it to RWD. I would then need a custom made drive shaft and possibly the rear axle as well which would get expensive.

If anyone can enlighten me on this subject I would be most grateful.

Thanks

look for a SR20DET from a bluebird or avenir, or gti-r, those are fwd/awd engines, you cant use a rwd sr20

Do you know if that engine will drop straight in with my current engine mounts or will they need changed?

Also, will the gearbox that's in it now be alright or should I find one to suit the engine?
