From Evo to B14!

Hey guys/gals, just wanted to introduce myself on here. I recently purchased a 99 Sentra SE from a very good friend of mine to use as a daily driver as I had to get rid of my IX Evo. So far its a great little car, just kinda miss the power or the Evo, but dont miss all the gas it sucked up on a daily basis! lol. The B14 has Kojima-spec Koni yellows with Hypercoils, Hotshot header, custom-mandrel bent exhaust, 91 cams, UR pulleys, Hotshot CAI and some other goodies.

Ill post some pics this weekend. Im just glad to know Kojima personally, and pick his brain for advice! lol This B14 was actually raced a couple of times before, back in the Se-R cup days by my friend. It was actually featured for its suspension on a magazine before.

Hard to go back to a SR20 powered car after having an Evo. I sold mine a year ago and bought a B13 to autox and a Honda Accord to drive everyday. Missed awd in the winter (fwd with snows is not as much fun) so I just sold the Accord and bought an 01 Impreza 2.5RS which is better but still no Evo

Tell me about it! The best part of the Evo was the tuning! EcuFlash does wonders for the Evo! and its free! lol. I know tuning is not an option when it comes to the SR20s, but at least we have JWT ecus to help out a little. I just hope to turn this car into a good IT-A competitor and then go back to my DSM roots.

Enjoy the car. SR20's are still fun to play with.

I have my little NX and the wife drives a Spec-V daily. It's nice to have a car that gets 33 mpg and still embarasses the tuner boys in their Si's and makes your passengers grab the door handles and go "Oh Sh*t" in the mountains.
