Sup guys, I'm Matt, i've got a 1991 Sentra SE-R in white. Its kinda hacked, pretty much a piece. I bought it from a kid who really had no idea what was what with the thing. He did a bunch of "cool" mods and ignored some issues so I'm along the ways of working it out.
Current mods:
Ebay ground controls
kyb gr-2s in the rear
Most likely original 91 front shocks
Crack from corner to corner in the windshield
No head liner (go faster for cheaps)
Bondo on the drivers door (negate the weight reduction of the headliner...darn.)
2.5in full flex pipe back stainless steel exhaust. Stupid loud. Keep getting pulled over for it.
Had super sweet stupid bent 17x7 cheap wheels that actually rubbed on the inner fender when you cut all the way. Now its got stock 14s with decent tread cheap tires.
Super awesome stereo wiring that goes no where. Still trying to dig it all out of there. But i've got a sony deck with four speakers and a sub that i ran myself...still havent pulled out all the crap wiring.
NO 5th GEAR POP OUT! Woot woooot
MAADDD JDM SICK steering wheel...debating on painting the center or sticker bombing it
Issues include
-Rough idle. Bad fuel pump. Looking to replace that this week when i get some muns.
-Tach works now and then, sometimes sticks at 0, sometimes hovers at 10k, sometimes floats a grand above actual rpm. No idea. Run what cha brung.
-Speedo doesnt work. At all.
-No front sway links to speak of

both outer tie rods
pads and rotors and caliper slides up front

Any ideas as to where to start with the speedo would be great. Im not sure if the whole cluster is bad (tach signal off the ecu is perfect 100% of the time) or if its the speedo cable.
