I've scoured the web looking for information on this code, and it is scant at best. I've got a 2000 G20 (which has a precat) with 155K on it, one owner, 100% stock. The car started idling like crap last week and ultimately threw a code.
According to the FSM, it looks like it is probably either the EGR valve or the temp sensor. I took the valve apart and there was no blockage/debris in it. I haven't messed with the temp sensor yet. I took the EGR tube it was not even minimally blocked. I took the rear tube (that goes back up to the intake), and it was unobstructed too.
Though I've read that a few 2.5L had issues with disentigrating precats, I couldn't find anything to show that this was an issue with SR20 motors.
So, I wanted to get y'all's take on it before I went and ripped off the exhaust manifold just to check if there's anything lose in there.
Any other ideas of what I could look for or where to start?
