Hey Guys & Gals,
Just wanted to post a big thank you to se200, your post in thread
http://www.sr20forum.com/turbo/27597...s-up-fast.html fixed my issue.
Your suggestion fixed my problem of oil blowing out of my catch can under wide open throttle. Turns out the crankcase was being pressurised via the intake manifold to PCV valve track. That would also explain why my dipstick kept on blowing out and spitting oil out under full noise as well.
To fix the issue I blanked off the vacuum line from the intake manifold that went to the PCV valve and attached the PCV valve to one of the inlets on my oil catch can, the other inlet on my catch can goes to the front side of the T on the valve / cam cover. I know you're supposed to have some vacuum from the intake sucking out the mix of oil and fuel vapours, but for the time being, I'm just happy to have no oil spitting out of the catch can!
Cheers again se200! Legend.
