You aren't using slicks are you? I was on some used 22x8x15 MT's mounted on GSR Fat 5 wheels. My car weighed 2120 last time I weighed it. Then add my 280lbs fat ass to it lol.

OK..*** idiot,I thought I was spraying a 75-shot since that is what the guy told me it was set at when I bought it.I pulled the jets the other day and found out that I have been spraying a 55-shot all this time, going by the ZEX jet chart. So im running low 8's on a 55-shot,I guess thats pretty decent? What should I expect when I jet it to 100hp?I have a walbro, retard timing and afpr,I should be ok?

Since the car went 8.6 then 8.5 then 8.4, and I was getting used to launching the car,im just assuming that as the night went on and air got colder the car probally would have went 8.3-8.2 Is that low 8's? And the question was, will the car handle a 100-shot safely?

The car will easily handle the 100 shot. You said you already have a fuel pump, so you will be fine. Man I have to get going and see if I can get similar times to yours. I can't believe you got your car that low in weight. I just have a stripped trunk and take out the seats. I ran a 75 shot and only got a 9.0@80 in the 1/8 with a 2.1 60ft. Maybe I had the timing up to much?? I also only had one run,(first time spraying at the track) because my clutch sucks!

with your numbers you should be close to 12's!

btw a zex 100 shot is 80whp and probably double that in torque.

Hey dude where in NC r u. I'm In Raleigh and I met someone with a 2G GSX DSM that said the closest 1/4 mile track is a hour and a half away. I'm curious to know where this 1/8th track that you frequent is. I would much rather the 1/4 but I can't be picky at this point cause I'm going through some major withdrawal right now. Good luck on your quest for low 13s BTW.

Scril- the closest track to us would be Benson. They have test and tune Every Thursday.

With a 55shot and I/H/E and full weight you should be able to get at least a 9.0 on street tires, once you get used to driving it. 8's if your on slicks.

I used to feel that if you lost in the 1/8th that you might as well give up to. Then I saw all these Honda boys with JUST top end power. They love the 1/4.

WOW didnt realize so0o0o0o many Sr20 fans were in NC....once i get this NX2000 and get a few lil "ticks"(not really ticks just some minor sensor problems maybe a vac leak) fixxed im gonna take it to Farmington just to see what i start with and get some practice launching since ive never driven on a race track. Some time all of us NC'ers and who ever else is down for the drive should get a lil meet and greet going so we can put faces to screen names

Ok..I went to the track agian last night and I was actually spraying 75 shot this time. And my best pass was a ET of 8.256 at 88.242 MPH with a 1.929 60 ft. Track was hooking but it was really humid.I wanted to run in the 7's Before I done my turbo, but Im pretty sure I can run a HIGH 7 on an 100 or 125 shot,so Im gona go ahead and start pulling the car apart and start on my turbo setup. What kind of times should I expect out of my car with a DE,stage 2 cams, top mount, SC32,40mm tial at 12 psi,3" DP with 3" magnaflow exhaust,780cc injectors,z32 MAF,calum ECU,1898 lb car,and maybe a 65-75 shot of gas?Has anybody ran this simular setup? Thanks guys

you can use the rough rule of thumb to determine an approximate 1/4 time from your 660 time.

1/8 x 1.57 = roughly what your car would run in the 1/4. provided the run was relatively clean, or you dont have a ton of traction issues.
