wow it does it by rpm thats what i'm looking for thanks man. most of the ones i saw do it by the time like at 1.3 sec into the run it pushes it a little higher. thanks alot
edit2: okay I figured out how to post this (somewhat crappily). This visualization helps me a lot in seeing just how big of a shot you could theoretically run on an SR20. What do you guys think the max torque load should be? Also, need to keep in mind that this does not include the torque load that the motor is already producing. So my area may be a little bit liberal.

Scott Kornish? What's up? How'd the 150 shot go? Damn it's been a while. I'm thinkin about building up an efficient kit for the spec v and I'm lookin into using a progressive controller.
Any updates?

You also have to take into account the initial shock on the system from a 100 shot + that you get w/o a progressive controller.
Wow so if I have a 200whp NA SR20VE w/SR16 Cams and I use a 75-200 Progressive system, I could basically be putting down 350whp in the higher RPM ranges?
i have a few Q's...how hard is it to hook up a progressive unit and for each diff horsepower setting do you need a diff solenoid and/or jet? PS.. can ya tune that on the stock ecu...
I have done progressive systems using a Perfect Power SMT 6 this gives you a system mappable by throttle position and TPS.
It also allows timing retard when on the gas.
I found the hard way that the stock head bolts are the limiting factor with nos on a stock DET.
Was making 155wkw on .7 bar boost and we got it up to 220wkw with no issues ran like that for a while and then I upped it again to around 240 250wkw.
Headbolt or gasket let go and we ended up blowing a welch plug out of the head and bending NO. 1 conrod. This from ingested water, I can tell you that even with a viscous lsd traction was non existent till 3rd gear and then the torque steer was vicious.
damn.. those are some pretty good numbers, what do you think the max is for horsepower or size of shot for a JDM de... im planning on running a 100 shot, with clutch and slicks.. maybe high to mid 12's?? let me know how long you think itll hold
A 100shot with the appropiate plugs and timing retard should hold together just fine.
Dont ask me 1/4 mile times as I live at 5500ft and we dont run anywhere near the times you guys do. Up here you would be doing well to run 13's in a full weight car.
I just did a 100hp kit in a 350Z with progressive control using a Unichip. Starting at 2500rpm on 40% and hitting 100% at 4800rpm.
Curve looks very smooth almost like a factory turbo car. Will probably be increasing it to 120 or 150hp and hitting 100% at near 6000rpm to combat the top end drop off.
Question Fellas. I must admit I'm not very familiar with nitrous. Lets say you have a high compression DE (Sr16ve pistons), does that limit the ability to use nitrous in any way? What are the dangers of running higher compression and nitrous. Anybody that knows I appreciate the info.
