I agree. I think we should also confirm production numbers. It would be nice to know for sure just how rare our little turds are. If Nissan could tell us by color, options etc., that would be ideal.

And yes the whole 293 blue NX produced thing is a myth.

Whether the cars exported to North America are all sequential is still a mystery. Remember there are a bunch of 1600s out there as well.

Do the European cars have the same type of VIN also? Is it an international standard or a US thing?

Yes, that's good. That way we can see how many they made for a giving time. 604 were made between my 2 cars in 3 months time (9/91-12-91)...
