lighten up my nx

alright i m going to get me a 73 240Z with rebuilt motor and triple weber side drafts cool car to drive and iam going to strip the 92 NX2000 with sh*tty t tops what does everyone suggest i do too get the most weight out of my car the damn car with half a tank and full interior weighed in at 2860 lbs thats too damn heavy for me....

I want too whoop some mustang ass...


Has anybody ever replaced the glass in the t tops with a old carbon fiber hood cut out too fit???
Would that be feasable???

mine weighs 2700 without me and empty tank of gas but i have 2 12"subs+box and no back seats 2860 with me in it

no i got the heavy ass t top model and i weigh 200 lbs...
its all good iam going too strip all interior and find a old carbon fiber hood and replace the glass in the t top with the carbon pieces and look for a piece of lexan for the hatch window...

I had my old 93 automatic weighed years ago on a truck scale. I think it was around 2800 pounds.

my nx weights 2380 with out me in it if i remember correctly. i still have a bit more weight reduction to finish up once the weather gets warmer, and i may possibly get some cf in place of the glass in the t-tops threw a cf shop. i want to substantially get my weight down cause i will soon be tossing in a cage.

just remove everything u do not need ull get to your goal.
