Im glad you understand. What you dont understand is that time is money and I dont have time to have someone flake on me because the manufacturers charge me regardless of whther you buy it or not.
I dont need to show receipts of my money that I have put up because anybody that knows a little bit about manufacturing knows that molds, labor, and material costs on something like this are very very high. Not to mention if you took the time to read the whole thread and search the forum acrhives you would see that a few years ago I did a similar thing where I spent over $10,000 on making 20+ carbon fiber hoods for the NX. You are the only person out of the dozens and dozens that have posted that made such an absurd comment and questioned my loyalty and integrity to this deal...
In that instance I had no choice but to take peoples money up front and had no choice on sitting on it for over 6 months, I think it took over a year in some cases and people trusted me and were patient and understanding. I felt bad, but that company (VIS Racing) was a big pain in the dick to deal with. This current company is real good to me and we advertise that it would take at maximum 2-3 weeks for delivery after payment. Thats not bad considering each hatch is hand built, assembled and shipping can take 5-10 days.
Im not a big company nor a big distributor. Im a forum member. Ive been here since 2001 and dont have a single complaint against me as far as buying or selling goes. In fact many people offered to send money eary and pre-pay the amounts in full. So why would I deal with soemoen like you when I have plenty of loyal customers in the ranks? Honestlyt. put yourself in my shoes and make an unbiased business decision.

Nobody is forcing you to buy one. So if you want to buy one, follow the sales terms and conditions and your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you dont, then you dont have to buy one. Freedom is great!!
please do not litter this thread because you dont agree with the payment collection method. Im not doing anything illegal. Any store you go to regardless of price makes you pay up front when you SPECIAL ORDER a part or product. Same applies here.
Its too bad you dont agree with my business practices, but more people and businesses agree with those same methods than dont. Thus I stick to my guns. Not to mention I only accept checks or money orders that are fully traceable methods and offer a degree of protection in the case of fraud. I wouldve loved to use PayPal but the fees on a $775 part and the shipping cost would have screwed me and many customers out of a considerable amount of money wasted on PayPal fees. but I really dont think you have thought about any of this and are blindly complaining...
If you leave a deposit and I deliver the goods, not only am I spending money out of my pocket to please you but there is no way I can enforce the collection of the remaining funds. Im not stupid and I really hope youre not either, but right about now, its not looking good for you...its business 101, man.
