Sounds good man. I can try to get you a discount on the actual unit cost, plus the shipping will be cheaper too. I know you CT guys are large in number so spread the word. The more orders that go to one location, the cheaper the freight is.

yeah. after the estimate arrives and we run some numbers on the polycarbonate stuff the mold process takes 2-3 weeks, then the first production and test fit andother 2 weeks or so, then final production they can pump out pretty quick.

these would be amazing! definitely interested! im actually in dire need of a new hatch. so is there any update on the price? and the lexan comes with it? sorry about the stupid questions, its just that im gonna have to take a loan from my parents a work more hours for this. but it is definitely worth it! great job man!

yeah me too LOL. Right now Im just hashing out the rear window material selection I have a quote on lexan but if I can get a treated polycarb for not much of a price difference I will go with it. The rear window shouldnt see much abuse and get scratched, but I still want to get the best material possible without going crazy on price. Right now, as it looks, everything appears on track for the $750/unit price range.

UPDATE #2:

Heres a rough estimate on Shippipng costs. Pretty much the same as what the Hood was since weight and dimension isnt too much different when boxed up.

(Northeast)-NY approx $140
(MidWest/South)-TX approx $120
(West Coast)-NV approx $90-110
extended location add $30-50

HAHA. Na man its cool Ill let you know as soon as Im ready to take money. As of now its looking like the $750 will be the best price using great materials. Just gotta wait on the polycarb prices. I really want to see about offering a discount if people pre-pay, buy multiple units, etc, but I have to see much I have to play with first...
