I really think so. Considering VIS wanted $1100 and that was just with regular Lexan and god knows how long in production time LOL.
I know its alot, but considering the price of hoods, theis price for this much more complexity and weight savings is totally worth it. If I go higher than that, i know they will be hard to sell cause we are all cheap asses J/K!!
but 750 is a good price. the cheaper the better really but i can deff swing 750 even in this time of recession. i want one regardless, but being its a very small order, very custom and after this thats prolly in, its imperative that the nx guys jump all over this while they can.

well we wont know for sure until the first one is made. I have been told the glass is somewhere in the low 20s and the hatch is in the low to mid 30s That puts us in the high 50s roughly, I couldnt imagine this thing weighing more than 30 pounds. But I could be wrong. The fabricator assured me he would make it as light as possible without compromising safety. He has some tricks to make them super light but he stated thats STRICTLY for track use. I know alot of people will use these on the street so I dont want to risk any problems. BUt it will still be way lighter than the stock piece. I guarantee it!!
We've made our selections on the materials.
I will be finalizing everything on this coming Wednesday and hopefully start the mold-making process by the end of next week. After that it should just take a couple of weeks. I should be able to have accurate pricing by the end of next week!!!! But as of now I am 90% sure it will fall in the $750 goal!!!
My 3rd brakelight never worked on my nx. So either way it doesnt matter to me. I am still debating putting the stock spoiler on it. I think nx's look a bit off without one, plus the stock spoiler is very light.

nop...not gonna go that route. Some people will like it others wont. Spoiler is optional. You dont have to put it back on or you can have another one made or get an after market one...
