Well it is louder than stock for sure. Its pretty low and deep at low rpm.
It gets louder when the VVL hits, but most who have heard it have to look underneath before they beleive it is 3"

I hope to have sound clips soon
Where in FL are you you can hear it in person, lol

I have the SSAC 2.5 and VRS manderal bend into the Magnaflow muffler with a 4 inch tip, test pipe instead of cat,, since new I have changed it up a little,,, first I tried and Highflow cat in place of the test pipe, my goal was to tone it down a bit, RESULT: very quite BUT it choked my DE down so much it felt like I lost a cyclinder! ,,, High flow cat my a$s ,, it had to GOOOOO!

I found a couple of 5 inch round by 18 inch long glass packs and removed the 22inch resonator and that toned it down about 25% without ANY air flow restriction ,, I can have a conversation on the cell phone ,, so heck yeah it's aLOT better , very little drone inside the car,, and it's somewhat quite at cruising speed but it Opens up and bellooooooos LOUD when I'm getting after it,, ,, the glass packs definitly made a BIG difference in the sound, kept it deep without any high pitch,, alot better than the 22 resonator <<which is 4sale btw..

MY next route is to do what Eggman did,, (muffler choice) by using a Virbant in place of my Magnaflow,, we went riding the other day and he fell out to pass me and I heard Nothing untill he got beside me!! but with my exaust you hear my coming before I pass you...

I dont know about Josh(unijabnx2000),but me and tearoff guy have an 02 sensor on the header, since they are obd1,so no engine ligt probs .
I havent dynoed, but if there was a torque loss,I cant tell.I can tell on the top end ,however.
