The GTi-R section (for ALL GTi-R owners around the world)

Welcome to the new section just for you AWD owners. Please use the "report post" button on any post in threads you think need to be moved here. As moderators come across AWD/GTi-R specific posts they will be moved here as well. This area is open to all GTi-R owners in the US and everywhere else in the world.

Larry (Low612) is the moderator. He is a US-based GTi-R owner that has been on the SR20 Forum a long time. I will let him chime in when he gets a chance.

Please report any problems with this new area to me. Thanks!

is this going to be open to the GTIR motor owners as well???

i know it owuld be a lot of help if i could post here with problems im having with my motor...i figure the guys who own these cars and drive them everyday can possibly help out as well.

it would be also very helpful for locating parts etc etc seeing as how nothing is interchangeable on this motor....

so yes or no...open to gtir motor owners?

Anything specific to GTi-Rs, specifically the AWD system and engine, belongs here. So yes.

Larry works nights, he will be on later I know it! He wanted to post first, but it wasn't open before he had to leave. He is VERY excited to have this new section.

I think this is a great Idea, that way all GTiR engine specific Q's can be put here. I love this engine but the info is scatered everywhere.

Im REALLY excited about this section as well. I now can tap into my obsessive boost addiction again and put the superbikes on hold till summer.

I was getting tired of jumping back and forth to several forums trying to find out info on this cars chassis.

I have a gtir swap and iI was wondering what you US guys were using for oil filters. I installed a se-r filter but it doesn't have enough thread engagement. If you look at the filter that came with the gtir engine and the usdm sr20 they are different. I haven't tried any other brands yet but I thought I'd ask around
