1st time getting pulled over

Got pulled over 1230am yesterday. I was nervous but confident. I failed to yeild coming off the freeway making right turn (wanted to take the turn fast) Low and behold the po po. So i ended pulling off the main street into well lit parking lot.

Female officers exit hers car, approaches leftside of vehicle, i raise my hand out the window, she comes on to rightside. She says "what kind of vehicle is this"? I say "Nissan Pulsar" . She ask wheres the vin # . I told her its not on dash its on firewall. I asked if she wanted to check she said not yet. I give her my papers she awaits info from dispatch on dmv info. In the meantime her back up arrives he goes around vehicle to left side and knoks on window and starts laughing WTF . Dmv checked out they let me go with a warning and they got a kick out of the car.

i actually get thumbs up from older fellows with big ol muscle cars after i let them know what the gti-r can do.

but young people dont really bat an eye around here, there's just too many rhd's now.. skylines, sylvia's all kinds of crap running around now.

luckily there's only maybe 5 or 6 of these in my province and maybe 15 across the country in canada.

my g20 and nx don't have front license plates and I've never gotten pulled over for not having one. the owner of the G20 before me (I am 2nd owner) never had the front license plate either (front bumper doesn't even have the holes drilled), and he never got any beef for not having one.

THE STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE VARIES FROM STATE TO STATE, SO START RESEARCHING YOUR LOCAL LAWS AND DMV

Seriously, unless one of us lives next door to you, nothing we say is going to be any help to you anyway.

its a case by case basis in CA.

Its not really about what you know, more like who you know and how well you know them...

from what i hear, it is easier to register them in a state such as Arizona, New Mexico and even Oregon first. Then once the paperwork and title are issued, then re-register the vehicle here in Cali. This is what the guy over at the Stillen meet in the R32 Skyline told me.

yes it is easier that way because there is a paper trail and you dont need to deal with all the customs documentation, japan/uk title, B.A.R, Referee yada yada yada .
And just think all the original records of your registration are out of state. Which is out of Juristiction of Cali if they should want to sieze your vehicle.
