OK i have a problem . Everything with this 3071r seem to bolt up fine with exception of wastegate. Cant seem to get wastegate to clear block. Now i got the turbo from atp, purchased there 7psi actuator and aluminum universal bracket..wont work. So i removed actuaotr from my ole t-28 seem to fit better but still wouldnt clear block. So now i plan to go back down to atp friday morning and see if they have another bracket or actuator that may fit better. I know i may have to custom make one but i didnt want to make one if didnt have to, especially at 2am in the morning. Or does anyone know where i can get a bracket specific for gti-r in the states quickly?

ya got it on . But I put a new 7 psi wastegate on . It was either that or a 1 bar one. Turbo feels good but until i put a boost controller on or do the 1 bar mod its slow.

Larry,
You need to use the mounting bracket from the GTIR so before you sell your turbo make sure you have what you need to make your new turbo clear the block. Good luck.

i was hesitant to run the 1 bar because i wanted to play it safe until i get afpr and my maf was "iffy". Now im runng 12psi and i replaced the maf , got a boxer ecu. So i will see how 1.2 bar is.

Well i would say by my but dyno maybe 280-300 whp but then again i dont have second gear. But from the way it pull on the freeway maybe 300 or im just comparing to the way my turbo b13 felt. My b13 pulled mad scary hard. The drivetrain on this thing just sucks the power up.
